We are a true collaboration of nearly 10,000 individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and municipalities across the Merrimack Valley region of Massachusetts. Everyone works together to contribute items, talent, time, effort, tasks, and skills to positively impact the community. Together, we create a powerful force of good, spreading kindness and community support wherever it is needed throughout the region. We have experienced firsthand that “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts” (Aristotle).
5 PROGRAMS; ENDLESS VOLUNTEERING POSSIBILITIES
Infinite is an understatement when we refer to the ways one person or group can volunteer at TKC. The Kindness Collaborative IS volunteering – stepping up and stepping into action by the community for the community in myriad ways. We invite individuals, groups, associations, businesses, clubs, and organizations to make a real impact on our culture.

With Thanksgiving/November behind us, we are turning our attention now to our December holiday efforts!
To kick things off we are looking for some kind individuals to help us, and Foster Kids of the Merrimack Valley, bring joy to two local boys, Jayden & Tyler this holiday season.
Who will show these boys some kindness??? Is it YOU??
If you have any questions, please let us know!

Happy GIVING TUESDAY everyone!
Today is a great day to recognize and support the nonprofits that keep our community going. In the Merrimack Valley, that includes SO MANY awesome orgs! Please consider donating to any of them today!
As with last year, we will be constantly adding to our list of local nonprofits throughout the day.
TKC would so appreciate your support (that helps so critically and keeps our Kindness operations going) , but if you donate to ANY local nonprofit today... THANK YOU!!!!

It's cold out there and many who are living outside went without the Thanksgiving meal we all had on Thursday.
Thanks to a partnership between TKC, Village Food Hub , and Merrimack Valley Dream Center we handed out about 140 meals today including dozens of Thanksgiving dinners donated by Village Food Hub for this effort (thank you Shari Taylor McLeod)!!!
The rest of the meals were prepared and donated by Jeanne Lo, Maureen Furneaux Kane, Finn Ryan/Jen Yapp, & Kim Durgin!!! Thank you all so much for feeding so many on this cold day 💜💜💜
The recipients were so appreciative!

www.facebook.com/100090559351379/posts/277054788656498/?d=n&mibextid=qC1gEaThis week, the Village Food Hub provided 250 full Thanksgiving dinners to people in need. It was our first event of this kind, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to find new ways to fight food insecurity in our community. The success of this program wouldn’t have been possible without the wonderful collaboration between our team, Wellesley Restaurant Group, Ballard Vale United Church, West Parish Church, and our amazing volunteers.
During this Thanksgiving week, several local groups and families also dropped off substantial contributions of food for the pantry. With food insecurity rates for children in Andover climbing another 12% this year, the need is extremely high. We are so thankful for the community efforts to help keep our pantry stocked!
Over the next few months, we have many new opportunities to rescue food that could help provide much needed nourishment to families in need, but we need additional volunteers to make it a reality. Please consider joining us to help our neighbors who are hungry.
Village Food Hub wishes you and yours a very happy holiday season!

ENOUGH FOOD TO FEED HUNDREDS! THANK YOU! 💜
I'm so thankful for the people and partners who joined us to collect Thanksgiving items for our community members in need directly and through our partners Community Pantry at BVUC Andover and Neighbors In Need!
HUGE THANKS to Black Diamond Networks (a TKC Kind Business and awesome member of our community) for collecting a ton of great stuff (they are already on to a Christmas collection!!!) AND Paula Rheaume Pinkney, Anne Rosselli & their families/neighborhoods who collected so much great holiday food items for the effort as well 💜💜💜
Enough items were collected to feed hundreds... There was stuffing and potatoes, gravy and vegetables, cornbread, pies, even a full turkey was donated (thank you Liz Sweeney Gorman!!!) ... Every ingredient for a great Thanksgiving including the most important one... KINDNESS!
Thanks also to Kate Secondo and Sparrow for some incredible work on this project!
